PSOAs in general use
- PSOA in use on construction sites must have regulatory approval and be marked with RCM or approval number and certified to AS3190 in accordance with AS3012
- EPODS e.g. “domestic type power boards” shall not be used on construction sites AS3012:2.6.12.
Power board on inverter generator or portable inverter
- Power boards used on inverter generators or portable inverters must be tested for both a.c. and DC pulse residual current (must be type A RCD) AS4763:15.12
- The RCD shall be suitable for the earth fault waveform of the supply (inverter) in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. AS3000:7.3.5.2.2
